What do I need to get started?
You have three options. You can upload a spec sheet and purchase a CAD, upload your own CAD, or send us a physical sample. If you decide to go with the latter, we can help you sort out the shipping label.
Does Benchwork have a MOQ?
We don’t have a per piece minimum order quantity but rather a value minimum because we believe in offering you flexibility in production. Our minimum order value is $500 USD to ensure that you get the most value with manufacturing with Benchwork. 
What materials does Benchwork use?
Our workshop uses brass, sterling silver and gold as base metals. We offer a stainless steel option as well with a 300 piece minimum.
Where do your chains come from?
Our chains are crafted and produced sustainably in Germany. 
How thick can you plate my jewelry?
We plate all jewelry with electro-plating. The plating thickness ranges from flash plating, to 0.1 μm to 6 μm. 
What are your lead times?
For off-peak seasons, lead times vary from 4-6 weeks depending on your quantity. For peak season, lead times vary between 6-8 weeks depending on your quantity.

How does pricing work?
Prices vary depending on the product size, plating metal, plating thickness, and if your piece contains any stones. To  have an accurate estimate or quote, submit your pieces or spec sheets/CADs for a quote.
How do payments work?
Payments can be made directly on Benchwork by inputting your banking information or adding a credit card.

What makes Benchwork ethical and sustainable?

Our workshops obtains the highly coveted SA8000 certificate, which ensures ethical working conditions to all employees.

As well, our workshops hold the ISO140001 certificate, which ensures that our manufacturing practices are sustainable. More specifically, our workshop reuses all of the excess gold in the casting stage, and recycles 60% of the water and reuses it during production.
